Sicilian Class Held in Glendale, California
Dr. Kirk Bonner finished the last two-hour session on March 14 of what was most probably the first class ever offered in the Sicilian language. The class consisted of six two-hour sessions lasting from February 7 to March 14; the class was held in Glendale, California. Most of the students had had some exposure to spoken Sicilian, so the level of enthusiasm was high. One of the students had this to say about the class: I really enjoyed the class and I am thrilled to see someone who isn't Italian or Sicilian has taken an interest in our culture.
